...and why? I'd have to say the Wii, it is the only console of the 3 that truly introduces something new. 'NexGen' for the XB360 and PS3 is defined by graphics and raw power in the CPU, GPU, and RAM. The Wii brings something totally new to the industry, and truly defines 'NexGen' Only reason I have a 360 is I got it free, and its fun, and Wii's are so damn hard to grab.
360 more for its unified xbox live, developer friendly, its gpu imo is more next-gen with the unified shader, DX10 cards are using it, also the download movie format. But it does share its design flaws. PS3 only has "New" hardware that may or may not be great in the long run. Cell processor is a new design for a CPU, but I'm not entirely sure how it will end in the long run, Blu-Ray is a new format but the manufacturing flaws and the costly media for gaming companys (and reports of long burn time, hence why they cut 6 gigs from resistence). Wii, even tho it has close specs to that of an xbox, it packs it in a smaller package. Its fun, but there are some minor downfalls, like the whole time I played Zelda, that little speaker is so annoying. It may have sound like a good idea, but the sound quality there is poor. But I wonder, how long would the fun last on my Wii. I'm now thinking the time on Zelda was kinda, not so great. Anyways, HD-Era does not start til Nintendo says so. (refrence to what sony said about them ;p) Each are equal, time will tell. Since 360 is focused on the whole media entertainment, PS3 is focused on throwing new designs at everyone Wii is focused on people not throwing their remotes for entertainment. -=D

I believe that the Wii's fun dries up fast, so they need to keep filling it up with games. I'd rather go bowling than go Wii Bowling, (which happend last night cause people wanted to save money -=/ bastards) It boils down to the game, sure the Wii may seem fun, but it actually dries up fast, I havent played my Wii in the last 3 days. excluding when i took my Wiimote to a friends, same thing with my 360, I'm now getting to a point where, games are pretty boring on the Wii, -=/ imma send my Wii to my bro in florida, he needs something to play.. I feel the need to go-kart, or paintballing -=o... DAMN YOU VIDEO GAMES AND COLLEGE WORK....... Imma eat my chocolate.
Since the dreamcast, I've noticed consoles tend to get boring pretty fast either way. Maybe I'm just used to the depth of a PC game
Seen that, but this is about the reasoning. NexGenWars is about pure statistics, no justification or reasoning. Heck, you can even vote from the same PC unlimited times as long as you wait long enough between votes, and delete the cookies. Its a useful reference to see the rest of the worlds opinions, but its generally not enough.
Finnally got my Wii. Sure, annoying speaker, but I taped over my wii mote speaker, it solves the problem completely. If your looking for fun on the wii, screw Zelda. Go buy Madden, like, NOW. Frickin a! Its a bloody blast. I've played it for hours already, and I havnt even played a normal game of football yet ^_^. And paying homage to 2142, I created the EU as my football team of choice ^,^; Becuase grey and orange are amazing. PS3 isnt a console <.<... Its a cheap blue ray player. XBOX 360 is a console. Wii60=next-gen PS3=new hardware
