What is the Northern Faction themed after?

I don't think it takes a genius to see the WWII german inspiration for the Imperials, the helmets, fieldcaps, and machineguns and uniforms are almost eerily Wehrmacht. My question though is, what is the Northern Faction themed after?

 

Well the hvy tank looks like the ww1 willie tank from the allies

 

I like to think that they are Browncoats. That's why I only play with them (and lose most of the time sadly).

You could see the Brenodi as the British during the height of the British Empire and the desire to expand and colonize. The NF are based on russia.

I tend to think the NF are Russian and BE are German.. but i like the idea of the BE being English.

The Brenodi Flag also looks like the German War Flag from WW1.
