This game is great, ill start off with that.
BUT this games maps are so open it makes stratagy hard.
I think they should make maps that are more dense.... like with trees, buildings, stuff....

    And/ or
    Use the "flag city maps"
as a template then make it so they have a commander like ther other maps. Mabey slightly bigger.
Im just curiouse to know the direction of the games new maps, as with the new air units, the open areas might make it a bit ... unbalanced.

Does anyone else agree with this?

you know that there are limits? and that massive prop spam (trees rocks and such) will cause VERY LOW FPS ...

Of course i know theres limits, but i just think there could be a little more... substance.
open feilds make it less of a fps becaues it is possible to kill anyone as long as you can see them.
dosn't mater if its 10 yards or 50.

The open space is required in most cases to place buildings. Cover is usually near the walls so infantry have safe(r) areas to travel, while still allowing buildings to be placed.

Small rocks shouldn't impede building, then you can have cover AND room to build.

Buildings need alot of room and to many props crash the engine.

I get that, but if you have like 1 rock in the area that a barracks might go, infantry can use it for cover. Once the barracks is placed, the rock is hidden/whatever-they-do-to-ref-node-rocks. This goes for any building, the barracks is just an example. It would allow for more infantry cover without impeding base construction.

Tanks need alot of room to, and you have to make sure theirs even
enough place to drive around when a full base is placed their.

A full gridsize map with the detail of urban chaos is not doable to the brushlimit

ref node rocks are a prop specially for ref nodes, also if i would have a terrain with rocks in it people would tend to try and put the buildings next to the rocks since it is only logical that rocks will block it

I thort that the map on last weeks PUG was an amazing map for tanks (Homeland wansnt it?). It was a well made amazing balance for tanks and inf. You really felt like you were in a warzone cus you could go into most buildings and was clostrofobic but not too clostrofobic for tanks. Was very amazing :D
