What game to buy...

Sooo, I'm looking to buy some game when I make an order online, very shortly....

what is worth buying? I was looking at WoW, but when I did the trial, I either played for hours, or I tried to play, started to do a quest and got bored fast...

So, if I buy something, I'm hoping its MP (as if it isn't...well...I can...borrow it from a friend...heh.)

Games I have? BF2/BF2142, CS:S (A friend let me play DOD:S, didn't much like it)....I have AOE3 somewhere...FEAR...not much else installed right now.

 

Sounds like you need some Unreal Tournament 2k4. =D

 

Oh, yeah, already have that....I prefer the original UT....

 

yeah me too. something about the other UT's never got that pure feeling of the redeemer or dual pistols (gangsta style!)....

it was cool.

 

I thought it was a bit too "floaty" but UT3 is supposed to be a bit less gravitationally challenged.

 

Original UT multiplay isnt fun. With teams games everyone is a tanslocator whore. Plus EVERY server in existance upped the speed to something higher than the normal setting, which screws me up since i'm used to the normal setting. I would really like to play UT on a normal server without translocating whores.

 

Get Starcraft. Now.

 

O fast server speed is a bitch, especially on Instagib.

Don't listen to the SC fanboy, get WC3 so you can play DoTA. :D

 

i used to be in a ctf clan for ut, and was the flag carrier for it, where I would stand ontop of my own tower, shoot my translocator (with the melee weapon's 2nd attack) ontop of the enemy's tower, then teleport there, melee the sniper if possible and use the teleporter to the flag :D

another trick I made a lot of use of is the secret platform (invisible) in one of the 2 towers, near the flag, load up your rocketlauncher, and just shoot the non suspecting bastards beneath you.


edit: this is of coruse on the map with the 2 towers in orbit, forgot the name of it.

Buy the whole series of Myst games. The puzzles in those games should keep your brain well entertained

Is Rainbow 6 Vegas any good online? There seems to be no demo.

I enjoyed coop for Raven shield back in the day...

But...that's not multiplayer and I can get it...from a....friend. Yeah, a friend.

yeh face something, it doesnt have classic behind it, as it was the first version, and also I deleted a lign where i was specifically talking about that map, as a reply to someone complaining about translocater madness
