Make the weapon silencer skill for the scout also make the Pistol, scout grenades and the ranged rifle be used while hiding without breaking hide. This can allow the scout to silently infiltrate turret farms and kill the engineer in charge without having to get close enough to melee him. For obvious reasons, this DOES NOT APPLY TO THE SMGS, as that would be unbalanced due to their superior killing power. This promotes an active use of the scout to gain territory. Pros: -improves the scout's ability to be an effective counter to turrets. Cons: -could possibly spark "invisible armies" Alternatives: -do not include the scout rifle in that list.
Just give players with the Silencer skill an actual pistol with a silencer. The pistol can be fired without breaking hide (but still makes them more visible so players can see them).
I think there's a bug for this. If someone could check that would be cool. I tried using the silencer a few months ago but still heard my guns sound. Then a few days later I remembered I put custom sounds on the gun. I think that made the silencer not work.
Bloom in reverse I guess, it would consume the light from everything nearby. Anyway, cloaked snipers are annoying and thats what this would be used for. Make it work for pistol only.
I knew that the invisible sniper would probably come up, so that's why I listed an alternative for this not to apply to the sniper rifle.
Lol, that would be the new ninja tactic, instead of deconning the commander from a long time ago, you would just give a scout an ammo box and sticky stun him to death. Fortunately, this isn't the case. (or in your case, unfortunately)
