Every once in a while I'll go create a tank, customize some stuff and completely forget to assign the weapons to groups.. So I spend 900 bucks of my teams money and then realize that my cannons and missles are completely un-usable because they aren't assigned to a weapon group, and get to drive around in a 900 dollar machine gun. Might be an idea to make it so that a tank can't even be created until the weapons are grouped or at least give some sort of warning before the tank is created. Just a though
Or perhaps add keybinds to group a selected weapon to a certain group, and keybinds to scroll through the weapons on the tank (solely for the purpose of re-grouping)?
Warning is good, but I'd go a step farther and gray out the Build button if a weapon is unassigned. Much like it works when no Engine is selected. After all, why waste team's resources on a weapon that cannot be used? While we're on the subject... Is the feature of Repair Facility to allow weapon regrouping and armor swapping still on the table?
Well, it's all limited to the amount of time Krenzo can spend on perfecting the current system. Just because other games have it doesn't mean we can (or will).
Oh, we absolutely COULD, but I agree, Krenzo might get distracted by important matters (like a job, or hot chicks).
