Skyrim is coming on 11.11.11 I preordered and planned 2 weeks vacation right after the release. Anyone else with me? 60 Things to do in Oblivion while waiting for Skyrim!
Definitely looking forward to it, hope I get time to play it and enjoy it. There's a bunch of stuff I like the look of, there's skyrim, saints row three, and I think at least one other game coming out around that time that I want.
I'll still be too busy pwning Russians and/or Americunts in Bf3 at that time, so according to your vote "I suck, bro" ps: Skyrim is overrated
Oh u. I didn't say it will be bad, but maybe they should cool down the hype a bit, so a lot of peoples expectations won't be crushed. I also hope this time you can kill people without the whole world noticing it.
they overrated the 64 player servers in BF3 too much, Hope you are having fun having your screen filled with lens flares and flashlights.
Bf3 itself is also pretty overrated. I hope the campaingn won't suck too much and they actually manage to get the servers somehow working when my copy arrives. And thanks, I also enjoyed the beta a lot.
Honestly I haven't noticed much hype. At least, not stuff that isn't fairly standard for TES at this point. Most of the stuff I would say is really awesome and being sold as really awesome is just how TES works, I didn't see much in the gameplay demos which is really spectacular, it looks like oblivion with a bunch of nice interface changes, a bunch of improvements to the levelling system, and a bunch of nice graphical improvements. To me hype is like when you say it's good but it isn't, whereas skyrim seems like they're saying it's oblivion but slightly better and much prettier, which doesn't seem a stretch at all to me. I'm pumped for it because I really goddamn love the elder scrolls series, and bethsoft RPGs in general, I like the idea that they just boot you out into the world and tell you to do whatever, I find it vastly preferable to story driven RPGs.
Then it looks like some of my friends, who are also tuned for skyrim, send me way too much information about it, so I got something wrong here. I'm sorry when I appeared kinda offensive. But what still bothers me and I thinked is "hyped" too much, is that they brag about how far the AI is developed and how all the NPC characters have an advanced daily routine etc. They also said that in Oblivion and in my opionion the AI sucked and the world wasn't that alive and "breathed", like many people were saying. (Actually this affects a lot of RPG, not only Oblivion). The only RPG that I played, where I really thoguht, that the world was somehow alive was Gohtic III. I hope in Skyrim the AI will actually better and they haven't exaggerate with the daily routine stuff.
Well, the demo did show some quite nice touches, like blacksmiths actually blacksmithing while they talk to you, a guy working a lumber mill, basically NPCs don't freeze time and stare into your soul when you talk to them, they kinda just do what they're doing and talk so you can hear, which is an improvement over oblivion. Basically I'm expecting oblivion x 2 with the AI, not amazing, but kinda cool, oblivion was a massive improvement over morrowind and many other RPGs at the time in terms of AI, I mean people could actually follow you through doors! So skyrim I would expect to be sort of similar. I admit I have mostly been looking up info on the game and not really press hype, I sort of pick out the data and kinda zone out the hyperbole.
It's almost like someone printed it out and replaced the cover-art. And yes you can you just need an LCD screen and a camera that can display the screen easily.
 can you explain that, so a foreign German douche understands your concern? To me Skyrim is just a brand, don't know what other meanings are there.
I assume he's referring to the phrase 'waiting for god' or something. I assume it's a phrase anyway, it's definitely a TV series.
I heard you guys like Morrowind http://arvilbren.blogspot.com/ http://arvilbren2.blogspot.com/ http://timsup2nothing.blogspot.com/2...f-redoran.html
