storm, those are good, but you need to sound more energetic. remember, these are battlefeild comands that need to be done right NOW!

doesn't it strike you as odd that a male bloke enters the CV and imidiately becomes a female....? personally, I would stick with male voices.
Not really, as the voices you hear are supposedly your team, whereas when you are commander, it could be the computer you are using.
I would love to try out for voices, ;o tho lack of a computer. Comes in 2-3 weeks after i get paid ;o
I would recommend using people from countries that english speaking people don't generally know the sound of their accent in English or a unique regional accent (but eh, easy to understand of course), that way it would seem almost like a fictional accent. It would be too cliche to make the BE German sounding or even British (a lot of sci-fi empires have a British accent). If you're still stuck, even a French accent would be less cliche then German or British.
hm... i read the story line and it said the nf originally came from the be... just experiments gone wrong... so, in theory (lol), their accents should sound the same since they came from the same place... right?
BE is the Brenodi Empire (obviously), where the NF is madeup of rebellious remnants of the Jekotian Empire. These were the two, seperate, empires fighting over the ancient ruins. Furthermore, the NF are not products of experiments gone wrong. This kindof irritates me when I read it :p . The Jekotian Empire turned to genetic engineering for its peoples' advancement, much like the BE turned towards nanotechnology. The only thing "wrong" about the results are that they are incompatible with the BE's nanotechnology.
Hmmmm... I could try out for voices but I'm still kind of young, but not those 13 year olds on Halo 2 that make you want to kill people young.
French would be quite nice... but it really isn't very "gruff". given that very very few games actually have voice commands in the way this one does, I don't think british would be out of place.
True, i.e the EU in battlefield games (and in BF2142 the EU team is pretty much brits voices) give it a certain oomf. But anything but french one's, I would not be able to play the mod unless there was a voice command put in that went 'SACRE BLEU!'
