Since communication is the key in this game, the voice chat implementation should be improved. The biggest improvement would be having all the unit voice chat become directional (3d sound), but perhaps only for the commander, as it may be confusing and hard to hear on the battlefield for the units, this will allow the commander to easier understand the context of the message and where multiple players are communicating from. Also a simpler addition such as highlighting the speaking player on the minimap would also assist greatly.
Yeah, it'd be nice to know which turret is exploding and where. Not much help just saying "One of our turrets that may or may not be anywhere near you is being poked at by the enemy." Directional voice would be nice. This is the future, our radios can magically make the sound seem like it's coming from somewhere. Or putting a marker above the player's head. And a highlight on the map, because the squares are big.
