Videocard dead ? Or DirectX failure ?

    Thats my question. Ive been playing some Master of Orion 2 the other day, but i got graphical errors. Tryed some other games, same thing. With Source-based games+mods i get an sudden glitch and my pc crashes to a point of no return. Only way to get back to normal is an reboot through the power supply. So, videocard or directx ?

    Sounds like the videocard if the graphics are glitching.

    Then shes breaking down :(. Need new videocard in that case.

    Could be the psu too, depending on how much your GPU drains
