It's been somewhat suggested before.. but let's have high priority tanks. Both side will have one veteran tank (the tank that has the most kill without dying). When the veteran tank kills a tank or infantry, the enemy loses 2 tickets per death by the veteran tank. When the veteran tank dies, the enemy team gets back all the tickets that were lost to that veteran tank. Basically its a balance between killing shit load of people and to keep your tank from dying. When you are in a veteran tank and you die, the veteran status is given to the next tank with highest kill without death. So even if you kill 25 people (50 tickets), and then you die.. it would have been for naught. Basically it can end the game pretty fast or extend the game. The purpose of this is to have priority targets. Currently, its pretty much fire at whatever the fuck is in front of you (emp_slaughter). To give indication that the tank is a veteran tank, we should have this. with some dancing girls and dry ice smoke. With a cool indication/animation/particle like that, I think everyone would want to be a veteran tank.
I like the idea, especially the part about the dancing pixelated girls that would be coded onto every tank.
or killing the veteran tank gets you back half of the tickets he took off your team, or else it just gets redundant.
yey, another of those "allucard suggestions" - how awesome. i better hold back on a serious reply or ill be the bad guy again ...
Ok... ... I respect you and think your a pretty ok guy... But this suggestion flat out sounds retarded unnecessary and would be to compicated to the avarage gamer. It honestly sounds like a magic card ability.
This is too complicated, unnatural, and adds nothing. You already have priority targets. If there are tanks, you kill tanks. If there is a CommV, you trap it and kill it.
It just seems unnecessary. Why create another class of tank simply to be a priority target? After all, the CV fulfills that role.
give cv this ability when it kills people it drains 2 tickets, makes hobbes boomtank ergo lose more :p
you could make the designated tank have some other advantage then tickets since tickets is never going to become a streamlined game mechanic this way
Alucard are you trolling or smth? Because this is maybe one of the most retarded suggestions ever, which adds nothing but problems... In case you aren't, which I really don't hope, let's go this through, there's that veteran tank with 20 kills and tickets are 50:20 for that team ... what would that veteran tank driver have to do to NOT grief his team? Camp lonly in the middle of nowhere, giving one or 2 shots from range, what does it add to the game? Balacing? No. Simplification? No. A usefull feature? No. A fuckton of problems, tons of coding and arting time, and a redundant amount of particles which also would look out of place? Yes.
it shouldn't give back all the tickets, it should give the team that killed it a bunch of money. If it gives back all the tickets the round will last longer than it needs to.
