Vehicle Upgrading

Say you're in a nice Medium Tank with composite armour and a gas turbine engine, and then you see that the comm has researched phase 3 and reactive armour. Wouldn't it be nice if the repair facility could also be used to drive in your nice medium tank and upgrading it's armour and engine.

I suppose you could create a separate building, but that's gonna take too long and there won't be much point as not many people will upgrade unless resources are very strict/comm has restricted vehicle building.

It would make people much more careful with their vehicles.

Also, another suggestion, if you're an engineer in a vehicle, it would be nice if you could get a class specific upgrade to automatically heal (repair, whatever :p ) the vehicle.

 

developers said they will add this functionality to repair stations in a future update.

It would be nice for an engineer to have that ability, although repairing should only happen if the engineer is a passenger. Have you ever seen someone drive and repair their vehicle at the same time?

the first or the second idea? I haven't seen the second anywhere.. anyways it's obvious the devs have already considered these things, but it's still worthwhile to help them remember isn't it?
