    I'm sorry for him too, but perhaps he can suck the RPGs I'll be shoving up his ass next time I see him doing that...

    i am so much afraid of you guys look i tremble :P

    now nuke kill my own tank making this lots more dificult and in fact even more dificult than using a med tank or arti on escort

    so basicaly its need more skill to use now :P
    and i am not afraid of lil grenadier at all *beside the annoying mine but its good point source when you switch to grenadier and start destroying the mine*

    and as last resort i just do as last time i played escort

    i gonna take a engineer.scout or rifleman and kill ya :P

    I doubt you actually have any skill in combat, when you have to nuke even one second in the first place, people with actual skill don't ever nuke because they know they have better ways of conquering on Emp_Escort, the fact you're even PROUD of it means you probably never even fought a fair fight before.

    It depends on the team.(on BE) If you have a complete noob team, you can nuke. If you have a complete noob team on NF, BE shouldn't nuke. If the server isn't very full, don't nuke.

    Most of your ideas are completely wrong.

    What we have now:

    good armor, good accuracy, good range, cannon that kills everyone/everything in 25m radius

    What is bad:

    Arty can move and act like a heavy tank with very powerful cannon.

    What should be done:

    Artillery needs to be deployable. It should be like siege tanks in Starcraft, 2 modes:

    1. deployed

    Can't move, damage is the same as now, it gets range bonus. Armor is like 75% of normal armor. Minimal range is higher than in not deployed mode. Switching between those 2 modes should take 5-10 seconds.

    2. not deployed

    Can move, damage is that low that it can't kill infantry (100hp) on open terrain with one shot. As I said it can still shoot. Minimal range is still higher than in 1.06 but lower than in deployed mode. Armor is 100% of arty armor in 1.06. You can get 2 plates of armor for each side. It's possible that arty feedback skill won't be available without deployment.

    Advantages:

    - Arty won't be crippled. It can still defend itself from targets that are quite far away.
    - No rambo arty attacks.

    Disadvantages:

    - Most of arty attacks will take quite a lot of time.

    well i guess if getting heavy explosives would mean he would have to take off 2 armor plates it would be very nice

    Why should he? This games is more or less futuristic. Even in WW2 there were artilleries mounted on tanks chasis(armor and stuff).

    Having to mount the artillery will cripple him much more (in tank-arty fight). I'm not sure what exactly should the percentages of 1.06 armor when deployed and undeployed.

    I was in a game where our team was, well, really good, but Brenodi just attacked with just about 8 artillery tanks and noone could get through, they were shelling, spamming and not giving a fair chance, walled in and constantly supplied by ammunition boxes no doubt.

    Which map? BTW 8 arty strategy ownz on almost every map. But you have to get 8k or even 16k + research arty. You have plenty of time to defeat enemy earlier.

    That's (ab)using map weakness. All narrow maps (slaughtered/money/...) are good for that type of strategies.
