Yeah SGU is a bit pants. It's like they saw BSG and thought "oh, we can do that, but better"...please. I don't even like BSG, but I know if there's something stargate shouldn't be, it's that.

Stargate Atlantis was a great pseudo scifi comedy, they shoulda just stuck with that..

 

I will have to go with Empy on this one.

 

i torrented it, its good enough to torrent, but thats about it

i like stargate more, and stargate atlantis is decently okayish (on a wow this series has a bigger budget then belgian dental care)

 

SGU = Stargate Universe

I like it (though I also liked BSG). It seems more realistic than much of the shenanigans in SG1 or Atlantis.

 

sg1 didnt have shenanigans untill after season 6 or so, because they ran out of ideas and honestly i cant blame em (i can blame em for not stopping at season 7 or so though)

 

I liked stargate atlantis more, purely because they went out of their way to make it a little more funny. I liked the original stargate too, of course.

Stargate Universe...it has its moments, and i'm really hoping it'll settle down into something good...but right now, it's...so-so.

 

SG-1 was funny.

 

I stopped watching SGU after 3rd episode. The whole "omfg, we're stranded!!1!shiftone" theme got old fast. ST:Voyager did it first.

 

The last Stargate I watched had Kurt Russell and James Spader.

 

Thank god I'm not the only one who was thinking it was Voyager all over again...but not having Janeway means SGU is already a step ahead.

 

I heard there was going to be some stuff in the season finale that shouldn't be possible considering Destiny's distance from earth, but i guess we'll see the writers pull something out of their ass at the last moment.

 

people have done the "ship in middle of nowhere" since ancient times, voyager was no "new" concept

 

Bleh, I like SGU. Rush and Bright make the show awesome.

 

Who is Bright? Rush would be better if they didn't do the "can we trust him, is he responsible for all this?" kinda crap. Like from the first episode where he disappears for a second then the ship goes into ftl...poor. We don't need another "let's point fingers" sci fi show.

They should kill Chloe...and eat her body, just for lulz.

Greer's probably had the best lines so far...nothing particularly fagulous yet.

They should cut out that earth/ship body swap shite though.
