Hello all; turns out it was just a steam param to be added to the game; I've tested that VAC secure mode works. Please join the NUBS testing server 2, the only server currently enabled. Post here if anyone has problems connecting to it.
Hmm, I remember a long time ago somebody saying that its not really active even if it looks active...in empires. So I wonder if it really works.
VAC does absolutely fuck all if you don't submit cheats to valve through their API. I'm assuming we have few if any sent, so it won't change much yet.
At least with VAC enabled, empires looks less like an open invitation to cheaters. Now all we need is for sv_pure to work properly.
