using X-box controller?

    Is there any work being/been done for using an x-box type controller with empires? I tried to set it up and couldn't... just wondering.

    Be nice or I will swing the banhammer, this is not the worst question I have ever heard.

    If I ever get a xbox controller I'll try to see whats keeping it from working. But since I don't have one nor plan on buying one, I'm not going to do that anytime soon. Sorry.

    Did any of you get that insane idea that it might be easier and way more comfortable just to use MOUSE?

    with the xbox controller, you can just sit back in a comfortable position

    lay on your bed while playing empires

    Tried it several times. THE most overrated thing, right after playing on 50 inch TV.

    It's better for some games, not empires specifically...but I know a few people who've said they can't use mouse and keyboard for games 'cos it hurts their limbssss...

    lol have you played with me enough to say that? ;)

    Sometimes when I go to sleep, I bust out my laptop and go on empires.
    It's just annoying to use the touchpad, I'd much rather keep my arms in while laying down.

    The Xbox controller defines are in the OB Engine, but you can't use them as far as I'm aware.
