Also those of us who are otherwise miserable twats have interests outside of annoying everybody. No, because that would invalidate the test. Things like disease and circulatory ailments as a subset of that are often race-linked, so you have to study people who are otherwise as alike as possible in order to make sure it's your testing variable which is causing the change.
