I watched the match and a part of me died inside. The Americans were just about hanging in throughout the match. England had so many chances of scoring and were always pilling on the pressure on your goals, our strikers just couldn't header the crosses in. You guys on the other hand, were just about able to get the ocassional shot off. Its unfortunate that you lot scored the way you did That 2nd image "Americans came from behind and blasted the brits" is such BS. You's didn't blast us in the slightest
No, just that because USA are meant to be crap and England are meant to be one of the best teams in the world, tie is a pretty good result for them.
I heard that english guys couldnt even see the goal, they had to watch commercials. Wtf? who makes people watch commercials during a fucking football game?
Wow really? There were no commercials for ESPN/ABC. Damn exclusive rights! Anyway, if you are not sure why England is currently raging right now, look at this: Worst fail in FIFA history: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxspfInbLV8 Typical Brits reaction for 10-15sec after the goal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6RMSFzdxu8&feature=related
We are? I thought we were average at best. Considering the results in football seem to be more or less entirely random I find it a bit hard to say whether most teams are good or bad. The same team can do exceptionally in one game and terribly in the next, if it was an experiment I'd redo it due to bad data.
While it is possible for a good team to have a bad day, I wouldn't call it random. Especially for football/futbol/soccer, where the gameplay is more conservative and scores tend to be low. Germany is an example.
Is that what the New York Post looks like? Wow. And here I am, thinking that the Toronto Sun was pretty bad.
