So, if any of you actually watch a sport where you don't need A.D.D. to enjoy, Bayern buttfucked Arsenal today with a 3-1 lead. Also FC Porto beat Malaga but those are hillbilly teams so nobody gives a shit about 'em. Comments and feedback pl0x. Will post highlights when available.
For some reason i only follow the world and european championship. As long as it's country vs country i'm very interested, but teams like bayern or milan etc ... Those teams are a LOT better than the average national team, but still i can't really care for them That said if i had a tv in this room, i'd still watch the champions league
Man U is the good grandpa of soccer, like Obi-Wan to jedi Man City is the bad grandpa like Darth Vader Arsenal is like Luke, always young as fuck and trying to get better, sometimes beating the giants Liverpool is like R2D2, fucking useless
Surprisingly accurate, except that Man City have been totally useless in European football, even though they won last season's Premier League. I get the feeling that we (United) are on a bit of a roll at the moment. We have the biggest lead at this stage of the Premiership in history, we're still in the FA Cup (main UK domestic cup) and we performed well against Madrid. I'm hoping that with El Classicos either side of our home-tie against Madrid, that should fuck them up enough to mean we have an edge over them, not to mention we're at home. Arsenal are having a pretty shitty season, they're as good as out already. Barca will wipe the floor with AC Milan. There's only really 4 teams worth worrying about. United/Madrid (whoever wins that), Barca, Juventus (who are having an incredible season right now) and Bayern Munich. Everyone else is really just fodder. Maybe Dortmund and PSG are in there, but they'd need a decent amount of luck to get past the quarters, depending on who they get drawn against.
Yeah but Milan were at home. As much as I'd love Milan to win (so we don't have to face Barca later), I really don't think they'll beat Barca at the Nou. Having said that, there are a few classicos in close proximity to the return leg so, anything could happen.
