Id suggest to petition the administrive board (tm) to change the nick to Flameboyant instead Teef, just because you rephrase it , itdoesnt mean you're not still quoting the shitty 4ch meme
What am I quoting now? Because if you think people just talking to each-other is constantly references to something or quotes then I hate to see what kind of straws you pull when you don't know the reference.
I also got another list with games I just simply haven't finished yet, but don't have any intention to get back to soon. That's even longer than those two combined.
It depends on your approach to RTS. I only need Starcraftu to satiate my needs (also an occasional Knights and Merchants game), but I'm sure others have more varied tastes. I think you will get 30 hours of gameplay without trouble, and if you like SupCom, you will probably like PA as well.
I been playing it a bit last few days and its kinda fun for single player so far. Each time you play it you end up with different tech to work with. Nothing to do with what group you play for. I am not confident enough to play multi-player yet though. Also... wtf medium setting rip the shit out of my computer and setting it on high crashes my computer. Im not even gana touch ultra. Addendum: I finally lost a battle to the AI.. I did a hobbes on myself. Well anyways... The whole thing is made of little battles per planet. You have to keep fighting the AI commanders. Loose one battle and apparently you loose the war and have to start all fucking over again. LAME!
I play Europa Universalis IV when I want hardcore strategy. This doesn't sound like it is worth even 6€. It seems like one of those kickstarter projects that completely disappointed everyone.
the game play is fun. I am kind of addicted to it right now. It is soo much of its original creators intent. It feels like this is something that may be fixed later because loosing one battle and having to start a new war is a real slap to my face. I want to love this game, I do. Its just what I said... OH and apparently the AI can send nukes between planets and you can't. On the plus side... Putting giant engines on the planets and sending them crashing into the enemy is pretty fun. ohh there is a frigging in game store in it though. Kinda weird. It allows you to buy different commanders. No way to tell if they are better in any way other then looks. $4 per commander. <-- like wtf they better give bonus for that kind of cash.
The different commanders are pretty much just skins. And you can indeed send nukes to other planets yourself.
it took me some time to realize that you can't target actual units with nukes. You have to target the ground. On the awesome side... I found a tech that boosts comander walk speed 200% I can fucking run away from anything including short notice nukes (except air units) now. Another small upsetting thing about the commander is that he is pretty much useless soon as you get a T1 builder unit. It can almost out build your commander and it has the useful tech that your fucking commander SHOULD have. You commander SHOULD have all the T1 tech but, nope. Walls... who the fuck uses walls when its cheap and fast to build turrets.
That was a pet peeve in Supreme Commander as well. There was a pretty great mod out there, adding a ton of units and upgrades to the commander which enable T2, T3 and experimental buildings and units to be built by him.
