It's usually like 1 frame per second anyway, and with some on-the-fly compression a 1TB HDD could easily keep up to a year worth of footage that won't look like absolute arse.

 

Oh I was assuming that it was 30fps, but yeah security camera footage is usually slow anyways. A church still has pretty limited income so getting high quality hardware is still quite the investment.

 

No, rather a bunch of people who are down on their luck for one reason or another that take advantage of churches' hospitality.

Also, most of the time they don't go for the cash because it is usually in a lockbox within the church office (also locked). It usually isn't even kept in the church, its counted and then put into the appropriate funds the day after service. The best you could get is a computer and some office supplies, though good luck getting the computer out of there without somebody spotting you.

EDIT: Wait am I giving tips on when and how to rob a church? Seriously, don't do it. That money usually is actually going to a good cause.

Elderly and incapable of immediate resistance. If you covered your face with something like, say, a fedora then they probably wouldn't be able to get a good look at your face before you had already absconded with the goods.
