    SAVAGE.

    Anyone played this game before?

Anyway, i just discover it yesterday, been having great fun so far in the game. Even though this game can have major improvement later on and can use some changes, it's still a great game that's enjoyable by many.

Anyway, hope to catch many of you all in game. Will continue surfing through the forum from time to time.

seeing as first impressions count for everything nowadays, I am fairly sure that everyone would like (and if they don't, they damn well should) to hear what your ideas for major improvements are. They may get shot down in flames, or they may be taken into account, can't really say. But the game got to where it is today because of community feedback. (well, community feedback and devs who code pretty much 24/7) So do post in the suggestions forum.

I may not read 'em if they're bad enough, or I may read them and laugh... but DO IT ANYWAY

    also wtf is savage

    /lobster googles

oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah THAT'S savage. I remember reading about that.

Yea, savage is pretty much the same as this game with a bit more meleeing, and no vehicle. The race/team/nation are a lot differerent from one another though.

The game has a commander who can see in bird eye view like this game goes. The commander basically see the battle field in a RTS persective. The players get a first person view though, but commander get bird eye view.

There's also different classes, when you start the game you need to obtain resources, build structure to gain more classes/weapons/buildings/skills.

So yes it does contain some type of research tree and stuff, there's a skill tree too for each classes.

Both game are basically very similiar in game play. But the story/setting/graphic are pretty much different, as savage is more mythical like.

I'll be sure to include in sugestions too when i come up with some.

Reminds me of Battlezone (PC version, not arcade). Without the hover tanks.

Is it a coincidence that Universal Soldier was on TV (in britian anyway) at the EXACT same time as you said that on the server? :p

I've still got the original CD lying around here, that game is still awesome!

Savage is also very cool, but it died very fast, because of lacking advertising.
Don't know if they are even working on this game anymore.

It does remind me of savage and bz tho. Also C&C, but the army is now PC's and not NPC's :)
