This may be a nooby question

    But in a map(like on a game like hl2:ep2 for instance) how do you make an area that a person walks in and the map is finished and they are taken back to the title screen.

    point_clientcommand
    Send it an input from a trigger volume to 'disconnect'.

    I'm assuming this is for a non-Empires map as this would suck for an Empires map.

    Edit: Unless it was for the end of a series of tutorial maps.

    It's fine for singleplayer.
    If you wanted to cause trouble, you'd do it with point_servercommand.

    Make one of those entities that can only be passed through by one class. Put that as the ground. Set it so only scouts can pass through, and below it put that disconnect trigger. Epic win :)

    hence why i said "hl2:ep2 for instance" but, hmmm, TUTORIAL MAPS, THAT COULD HELP WITH THE S-BENDY LEARNING CURVE.

    There is no entity that does this directly, so you could just use a message on screen to tell the player the maps are over.
