So yeah basically what we did was make an infantry battle arena with walls, complete with cover. Credit goes to opie for the idea, It was great fun we had sniper wars and shit hopefully this will catch on and become the new tank wars or somthing.
This was actually first suggested by me on closed BSID forums and Opie stole the idea. Looks like fun(obviously because I suggested it). Would be cool if you took a jeep from each side and parked it on the oposing side and played capture the jeep.
the only problem I have with capture the jeep is that when at the othger side people will just start running over people until somone goes grenadeer to blow them up (or just buy a tank, then it becomes tank wars)
Nice, theres always Cage Melee Fighting which I tried out once with fun results. Build a ring of walls, add some steps. Let the pistol whipping begin. Especially when someone thought it fun to try and get an apc inside it.
Lithium the point is you are guarding the other teams jeep so you can't get in it. And once the other team gets in it their objective is to get it out of there safely.... So you are defending the other sides jeep and they are trying to steal it and bring it to their base.
truly, for maximum pleasure one should play a game with the intentions of completing the objectives as they were implemented by the game developers, but this is an archetype of a pasttime veterans of any game would be lured towards. silly rabbits, tricks are for kids.
yeah pretty much this mode+emp_recruits= no go only try this if everyone is veterans and arent noobs (how the hell did they even get 1.08 anyways?) Yeah they reminded me of these people It was freaking horrible.
