The Training Server will probably be back for round two in the next few weeks

    UPDATE (10-4-08)

    Based on some news I received today, I can tell everyone that we will probably be back in a lag free location for round two in the next few weeks.

    The details are still in the works and are classified at this time.

    Stay tuned ;)

    For everyone's information: The new Training Server is NOT the RA server (idk where you guys got that idea).

    It is hosted in Area 51, allowing actual jekotians and breondians to play empires with pings under 2000 m/s.

    That server is in Europe. Richnet seems fine now that its settings have apparently been tweaked. Why dont you recommend that one? The training server even says to go there 0_o.
    Is this an actual server concern, or a sandbox one?

    Seriously though, this is pretty inconsistent. 'We're going down until further notice' and then two days later it's back up.
    Sounds more like attention seeking behavior.

    More like I found out something I wasn't expecting.

    The RA server lags horribly and crashes. I live really far from Napalms (west coast US) and I get lagless play there.

    Re the "sandbox": What are you talking about?

    While we're on the subject.
    Another Noob Server is lag free except when full, where it gets a little bit jumpy. I'd be happy to play on it with or without admin :P

    I'm on west coast running a 10Mbps cable line and I get HUGE pings from Napalms. Almost 200. Not good for tanks at all. Richnet has been great to be till now plus no server can handle what it can :]]

    From what I've seen, 10 vehicles brings RA to a crawl.

    Hmm strange because with their max on 10 for each team, I've never even had any spikes or pinging :o
