The Training Server is shutting down indefinitely.

I know exactly what you mean. Even when I was made at it, I didn't do so much as to do it in a way where there was evidence. I was mad and I kept crying about it with rants. The least I could have done was actually try and talk to you about it instead of posting about it on a public forum or ranting while ingame to those admins.

I still never went as low as to say anything to you or the other good admins. I knew who I had problems with and that was that. I took my self vacation to cool off because I didn't want to go on saying things like that. I had plenty of time to start a demo the day thee situation happened, but instead I started arguing and that got me no where.

With everyone post of the situations on the forums(including my own), it didn't even give you any type of proof. I know I was mad and kept expecting you to look it up, which I know you did because you wouldn't just leave something people said wihtout checking it. The point was we didn't give you proof and expected you to believe all of us which is wrong. Wrong people can get taken of power if enough people made something up.

For that I do apologize for when I was mad and kept complaining. But I never turned you down or put you down. It was all out of anger only to the admins who did it to me. I should have just tried to be in your shoes because I couldn't do that to my own admins wihtout proof either :]]

almost all comments made about admin abuse (from my experience on the training server) were generic. It was really sad to witness, but all the comments either mentioned an admin, and didn't have anything specific to say about their behavior ("*** abuses his admin!"), or didn't mention a specific admin, but just complained in general ("admins on this server suck, they ban people just cause they want to!").

And I really couldn't care less what anyone has to say bad about the training server. As much as a bunch of dicks complained and complained and whined and moaned, I had to pry and pry and delve through crap every time I wanted to try and understand exactly what happened and whats going on. Much like some people's comments in this thread. its easy to see exactly what commands an admin uses if we just know the time, what happened, and bonus points for who it was or the map name!. We hardly ever got those 3 pieces of information, and when we did it turned out the admin was right! At the end of the day, until wolfservers started lagging, the training server was full a very large majority of the time. Even with its 32 person cap, it was still one of the most if not THE most popular server, and its not just because its called the training server:

• I witnessed admins and players, working together, playing properly, and doing their jobs countless times. Can't say that about other servers.
  
• Regardless of noobs, griefers were dealt with much faster and more consistently than any other server I've been on.
  
• Balancing was done right. While some douche could whine about what team he was on and how much he wanted to pwn the server because he and his clan are super awesome, it shouldn't matter in the game whether you are playing with or against your friends. Its still fun, and even MORE SO when its balanced.

As far as I'm concerned, Recon did a better job than any other lot. I'd play on a server with him as admin, better yet console, rather than any other server that is ignored and left alone by its admins after a week.

In no way am I trying to be mean here because I've been nice in rest of my posts. I just want to put in the other side to what you said Cpatton. I know for sure that there were MANY posts on this forum that specified the admin abuse and what happened like when admins used plugins to fly around or whatever that thing was. Or like the times when I myself put an accusation on two people for my clan mate and myself. I told exactly what happened on a forum post on your forums. Instead of doing anything on admins, my clan mate and I got unbanned and post was deleted and that was that. It was liek nothing happened and my post was gone. At that point I didn't even care to try to talk about the admin abuse as it goes unnoticed as seen on even these forums.

So you may have seen certain people whining, but you didn't pay attention to the posts here and on your own forums from those of us that constantly complained on same admins and situations. Doesn't matter who anymore and no need to point names. Most people seem happy that they lost their power at least this way. BUT that doesn't mean I'm happy the training server is down. I'm just happy I wont have to take my own vacations from the server from getting pissed that I'm ignored on admin abuse like the time I got banned and also threatened to be banned. Then it was erased so it's like it didn't happen =P

Again this isn't out of being mad or trying to fight. I just have to counter your post because there was too much evidence during these times on real admin abuse from so many different peoples points. It just came down to that we are supposed to demo it when we are banned out of nowhere. Now how do I demo in a server I can't get in =P

No Recon I completely understand your evidence point as I stated before. I was just countering Cpatton saying that all accusations were just whines when people clearly said what happened. Point of it is no one had proof or didn't bother to care to make demos. But there were real accusations and not just people whining. I understand all you said Recon but I had to counter Cpatton :]]

well now that my balls and dreams were just shattered after reading this thread name, I don't even feel like playing empires anymore...
unless this "RA" server is as good as the training...
and recon is still admin and lets me exploit off to the side on escort...

 

I don't let anyone exploit unless it is specifically allowed by the server rules.

Don't get your hopes down just yet............... I received some news today: We are coming back to a lag free location for round two :D
