The NoSpam question when registering to the forum.

Hi all, I got a question.
Why is there such a ridiculous NoSpam question when registering to this forum. The question is: Who is the original developer of Empires.
Couldn't find it in the FAQ or on the wiki or anything else. I had to look up who released the first post on the "News" section of this forum before I finally got myself registered. It's like someone wants this forum to stop having new members. Was there a drunk moderator?
I mean, why ask a question that honestly nobody really cares to know the answer about. I really like Empires and I respect the creator a lot. But this goes a tad too far for me. The question could just be simple like; wat is the faction colour of BE. Or what is the cheapest vehicle in the game. You know, not something I actually have to look up. Im waaaaay too lazy for that.

No, noone knows it when he is new to the game and the community. It is a ridiculous question.

 

if you go to dev team you'll see lead dev krenzo :p not really defending the legitness of this question, but still, easy to find...

 

I'm always like, if anything requires more effort than 3 mouse clicks. Its bad.

 

To be entirely honest, if you're that lazy, I can't even imagine how you manage to play Empires.

 

To be fair, it says lead programer not lead dev. I don't really remember what questions there are but they should only be about the actual game, questions that a newbie could answer after an hour or so of playing the game.

 

Well, Empires is a complicated game. But it doesn't really require much fysical effort or thinking of your own. It's doing what the commander says..and shooting everything thats hostile. My cat could do that. But she doesnt know how to use a computer.

 

A little bit of thinking is what makes a bad player different from a good player, and a little more thinking is what makes a good player different from an amazing player.

I tend not too shout in mics, so I don't waste much physical effort.
