The plane itself is called the Raven. That's the nickname. E.g. in the A-10 Thunderbolt's name, the A-10 is the real name of the plane, but its commonly called by its nickname, the Thunderbolt.

 

Why the hell bother? Aircraft is a long ways off.

He knows that, but what he was poinging out was the symbol of Jekotia which is the double headed eagle (also the Jekotian flag).

 

Not that far off; there are a few references to aircraft. For example, the Engineer-deployed radar's description mentions that it can detect aircraft. Also, the missle-launching turrets can shoot down aircraft (or so says the description).

 

Angry, a developer, certainly wouldn't have any clue how far off they are.
