At the moment, the jeep is hardly used due to its lack of weaponary. I think that the jeep should be able to be equiped with a machine gun so that it has more of a use than just driving around. What do you think?
The original idea was to give it some sort of weapons and the idea of allowing you to build turrets on the back has been thrown around here and there. Personally I'd like to see their cost reduced to the point where it won't affect resources as much to build them.
Maybe since the NF jeep is basically twice as powerful as the BE jeep (NF has four people). Add a third MG slot on the BE jeep, it can't be controlled by the driver.
Ah, way to make Jeeps useful! Though, plasma MGs on a jeep would make them very useful. Maybe something like a light plasma MG? And the heat from the gun shouldnt overheat the jeep, just make the gun not able to fire until its cooled down enough.
It's called a search feature. Use it. And yeah, I love the idea of jeeps w/ MGs. Two slot MGs'd be great, IMO, but hey.
I was talking about a smaller plasma MG, a light version that uses one slot and can only be used on jeeps.
I think the reason why it is a 2-slot MG is because it's too large, so you can't just cram it on a jeep.
1slot plasma MG would be a fun thing for jeeps imo. jeeps should be able to have a 1 slot MG or GL. you could make it optional by having a strict weight limit. also: i want to be able to control the machinegun! turret would be interesting but controlling it would be WAY better.
Definitely like the sound of that, maybe upgrades to the jeep that would allow a single missile slot (TOW) or bigger slots?
You know, the idea of the upgrade to TOW does sound cool, and I think it might be useful when money is tight, but you just need a fast hit and run anti-tank vehicle. Still if this isn't added, the MG or even the Grenade launcher are used on combat buggies and jeeps by special forces units around the world and would in my opinion not seem out of place in the realm of empires.
Isn't Dizziyone (or whoever that's doing the weapon balancing) working on 1-slot version of the current advance cannon? Maybe he can also work on 1-slot version of the different MGs. But seriously though, does anyone even attempt to use jeep as an attack vehicle? It seems whenever anyone even get a jeep everyone start to scream "omgz noob". The new sitting animation allow the jeep passenger to use the jeep as excellent cover from small arm fire. I think maybe with some practicing jeeps loaded with naders and riflemen can be pretty formidable.
Just a few hours ago I bought one and wasn't screamed at. I used it to ram our CV back on its wheels, though. Damn griefer bitch 9-mined it.
