The forums are great, I just have one suggestion though. for linear mode, can we have the first post be at the top? its kind of pointless to switch to hybrid so I can read what the thread is about, not what somebody says on the 11th post. I was also wondering if anyone else experiences this? Also, the imaged text "EMPIRES" at the top of the forum, make this a link to www.empiresmod.com? instead of www.forums.empiresmod.com
The EMPIRES link on the top of the forum is a standard with most forum software. I can't comment on either of the other two., however, I know you can set defaults for yourself in the UCP, which might help you.
Already setup, and I mean the rather large EMPIRES text right above User CP It would make sense to turn that into an image link to go back to empiresmod.com
You mean the picture/logo/ghostly-glowing-trying-to-be-epic-and-bombastically-imperial-text ? if so, could be an idea, don't know what will be gained because of it though...
Well, if you need to go back to the empires main page, then instead of either retyping or removing www.[B]forums.[/B]empiresmod.com Then it would make it a little easier to get back to, wouldn't it? The best part about getting back to the main page is that some people will say theres nothing on there... but there is. if your smart enough to find it.
