Picture it!

Instead of pre-set races, Build your own friggin race and units.

Oh my god, think of the scale of the lego clossal robots, would put supreme commander to shame. XD oh my god!

The only game I think I can relate to that idea is Spore? If spore can do it right, you'd think they'd be able to a get a lego game sorta right?

That would be cool.

 

The only problem would be that you would never have enough blocks of the right type. You'd get a unit half-built, then you would figure out that you're all out of the blue two-by-eight bricks.

 

then you gotta head out and get more =D!

 

I remember making a village out of legos when I was kid, Meaning If i could custom build the buildings themselves on some main menu option, I could have the most innocent looking base ever made! Oh also making my troops look like cilivians! I'll be all out guerilla warfare! =D

 

I'll play that game when i'm in my 40's, that way i have all the time in the world to play it

 

When I saw this thread, i thought of Dizzy's idea to have a paper cutting game. Where you give people (or yourself) paper cuts.

That would be awesome, I was thinking about something like this as well; but imagine instead of legos, they are actualy smooth parts (Something like the space ship buildinger in GalCiv 2, but more complex) Then you could customize EVERYTHING, right down to the special ability of units (And I dont mean cookie cutter ones, but the ones you make yourself)

 

Legos would work.
This of it this way.
Star War Games = Bad-Average
Star War Games + Legos = Ownage
Legos = Greatness To Games

ya, and add lego physics so when a big lego laser cannon blast your robot, its pieces just fly XD and it affects the robot too ;o

 

Lets make it an MMORTSFPSLEGORPG, then it would be perfect. :D

I had an idea about the best RTS idea ever. It was where there was one commander type dude, and the people he controlled were actually real people so you don't get the stupid noob pathfinding of the AI. Shame there's no game out there like it....
