2.26 is by far the best patch that has been released to this date and im for once very gratefull for your work! Finally we got spawn protection no matter what the stupid servers settings are so i can actually fight the people Around the barrack before i die. and the vehicle balance (in general and in terms of NF vs BE) is the best to this date, Finally the salvo homing gets its well needed Buff. Not to mention that engineers are now usefull with their new uber charged calculators capable of tearing tanks and cvs apart in the blink of an eye! :D Soloing tanks by placing a turret which they get stuck on and tear em apart with my trustworthy calculator = ftw. The new minimap/target change is also great! no longer do i need to rely on my commander to be active and actually do stuff, even if they are asleep i still know where everything is at, especially since every building work like a cam/radar :D The commander role is also very newbie friendly now which the empiresmod community has been asking for. all ya gotta do is place buildings, research and... well nothing! :D Ow! And those damn hidden scouts who manage to infiltrate ur base is no more aswell since they show up with cam targets while hidden now, so people wont be annoyed by them stealthing in your base anymore, cheers And i nearly forgot, thanks for increasing the hull repair for engis cuz bio was really annoying. now all ya need to do is to fix the hull (1-2 sec) and rep 1hp of the armor on the side that was biod to remove all further biodmg from the damage over time. By completely neutralizing the DoT which the biotree is famous for (by doing the above instructions) along with the additional nerf of the bioMG (which did a 20% stronger DOT in the previous versions) the bioweapons are finally far more balanced and on par with plasma. Finally: thanks for changing the semi-auto weapons back to click speed, it was so annoying to have that delay between ur clicks and shoots... and im not quite sure why but some people call the NFHR "the NF heavy shotgun" and ive seen "it" being shoot ingame (but the model look like a NFHR), is that some new easter egg thing? (cuz i cant find it in the weapon list) Anyway, thanks devs!
Commander should get board games to play against the enemy commander, from noughts and crosses, to Chess and Monopoly.
Risk and Tactical command and the boards would look similar to the map, and the players wouldn't be able to control themselves. That gives me an idea I think I should go recreate an empires map into starcraft 2.
I comm'd today... I have to admit I did feel the lack of giving targets, but I wasn't ever doing nothing tbh. Comm can finally get some abilities now that the timewasting experience has gone, imo.
New commanders who doesn't know how to give targets can now do something other than being bitched at for not giving targets.
