Ahh, some really odd things happened to me just before it did then. When nf were closing on the BE base, all was good. Just when i started joining in the end bit, firing rockets into the be barracks and comm, huuge lag, followed by a choose team screen, the minimap and player info from the scoreboard all gone, half the vehicles becoming be comm chairs and loads of trouble joining or spawning from any team. Then it was vaguely working again (asides from having no gun visible and all kills etc being suicides by "unconnected" accoring to the symbols on the side of the screen) and on firing a rocket at the BE barracks, it hanged and then lost connection.
