Are there any steps to reproduce this? It appears to be server side... If we can reproduce it, then we can look into it.
Okay, from now i want better voice quality in Empires. This video is a proof for that. (Mr. X voice... SO CLEAR!) ((Sorry for wasteful post but i had to ))

To whoever was claiming history was useless in the shoutbox, that convo there is one of the reasons why I strongly disagree.
Another example: It seems like it only effect vehicles not projectiles etc. Another thing to note is that it only effects vehicles which start/are moving. Note the heavy on the repair pad and the cv, we know that vehicles fall through buildings with this bug. If it was just a collision issue then wouldn't these fall threw the map at the same time? There is one thing I think server owners should test when this happens to see if it has something to do with lagcompensation. sv_unlag 0 This disables lag compensation entirely for the whole server.
@Mikleo Buildings aren't physics objects in the same way tanks are. But they do possess collision meshes. The possibility that this is OS specific came up yesterday as memehouse is a Linux server. Has this bug been reproduced on a Windows server?
Yes but if you watch Mr.X's video you see the vehicles fall through buildings in that one. It is not the fact that it is sitting on a rep pad that is preventing it from falling through. The CV also doesn't fall through until it moves. I mean I was the one who brought the whole linux thing up. But I think it's best to keep the options open and test it out when possible. Considering this issue was never seen before lag compensation was introduced on vehicle mgs and the linux servers worked fine before that version it is worth testing out. Also that fact that beerdude mentioned that it may have something to do with it.
Ok happened again on wired server second day running. That command I wanted to try didn't achieve anything.
The only thing that really changed was us getting our hands on the beta version, then flipping between it and the official release, which is all clientside. I did notice UI errors on my end, but that was it, really. Unless your server also flipped between versions?
It's not just Empires' Vehicles that fall through the map, other entities fall through the map too. Here on Homeland the "destroyed cars" are falling through the map too.
