IMAGES ARE MESS UP RIGHT NOW, TRYING TO FIX ATM, BUT AM VERY DRUNK, MIGHT TAKE A WHILE Right, I said I would post these so here goes, My alcohol addled brain remeblers a request for images that could be used to promote Empires, maybe a few of these are good enough, and even if not I recorded a demo, so I can always take more. (Though old demos don't appear to be working now.) And for the record just be gald I didn't post all of them, I have 180 from that battle. Anyway here goes.
get rid of all the hud crap and you got some cool shots.. whats that console command? i forgot it.. but you can get rid of all that stuff
Some nice shots here. The plasma and bio explosions are certainly the first things that catch my eye HUD is fine in this case, too. It shows the bases on the minimap and it doesn't show the uber res Now just to get some with different types of vehicles and infantry
Yay theres a picture with one of my kills . It was pretty fun, although I have to say the Plasma cannons and Bio combination was killer! I got overheated, they'd surround me and plsma+bio my ass to hell!
THOSE are some nice shots. I like some better then others, but overall you've got some good shit there. I especially like the third or fourth one down-- the one with the three different explosion sprites-- it's got kind of a patriotic feel- red, white, and green-- well, I guess if you're Italian. Or in Mexico.
They dont? I have everything set to max on my video settings so IU don't know what I can do to get any more effects. I checked out the demo just and it works, sort of. I can view the demo, but whenever I go into edit it Empires CTD. If I can get that working, and remove the hud I think I could get some really good epic shots and maybe even a cool video. Harlequin
OMG after seeing these screenshots I just realized tanks should really break down into pieces afret getting hit with some blueish explosion.. but meh maybe later I'll resuggest it for real (as in open the last request ) anyways I luve the screenshot with the three different explosions! People will get curious as to why they have different colours and maybe try the game..
I think by "the full effect", he means the experience of being there. Those were some epic battles. I found a new strategy also: BE Med tank, with 1 HE cannon and 1 Bio ML, 3-phase engine and 3-4 layers of regen armor. Use the HE to strip away the armor from a distance, then go in and drop a couple of bio missiles. Then run away and hide! Quite often the bio would finish off the hull, and if it didn't chances are your armor will now be ready to go in for another attack. The problem comes when you get surrounded by 3 heavies, stall, and get blown to pieces.
Awsome That was sum classic battle, we did have different combinations of tanks I tried Med/regen/bio which did well, and even a light at one point, but the best bit was Dee running amok with her jeep and I could never hit her lol. Was Interesting trying diffent types of armour/Guns couldnt get a distinct advatage , BE seemed to kill us more than we did them? Only thing i did notice was the Rail gun seems slow firing now or mebbe i need a new mouse. PS was that Opie I rammed / flipped and blew to smithereens,,, lol
the second one down is really really nice... the bloom in the background, the tank turret rotated... that looks so good it's like it was staged
:D It was so chaotic half the time I couldnt tell who i was shooting........ Hint:NF heavy flips BE heavy if yu ram it , lol.......
Hint: BE APC with 3 Phase flips NF heavy when you ram it from either side.
