When a tank blows up as posted in the 1.08 changelog it jumps up; so why not add a shockwave to it that would damage infantry but nothing else... Since buildings and tanks have enough armor to shurg it of... but I dont think anyone wants to stand near a tank when it blows up...
The way you worded it, it sounded like one of those things that look like a nuke shockwave from the videos, except on a MUCH smaller scale.
good in theory, but i have some problems with it: 1)if it hurts allies then it would hurt team work [not many engies would want to run up and try to heal the almost dead tank] 2) if it doesnt hurt allies then jeeps could become overly used as anti-infantry suicide-bombs i say that as a way to balance it make it hurt enemies only and be based on weight (say 1 dmg/50 pounds or tons or whatever)
The only reason I can think to use this would be to stop people from jumping out and fleeing their vehicle at the last moment. In which case, it should be dealt with like any other explosion.
and hurt enemies and allies. as an engineer, you need to know when to stop healing and just get the hell out of there. the explosion wouldn't be enough to kill you, just take say, 1/3 of your health. i like it.
I added it so you can more easily see when a vehicle dies by visual feedback. I don't plan on adding any pain from it.
Currently, only if you use enough explosives how mutch that is "enough" is for us to know and you to find out though
