CNC Generals was one of the best RTS's that I've had the privilege and graphics to play.

 

just the bots sucked. if u kept farming and turtling in long enough

 

I downloaded AI mods for it. Let's see you go up one of these babies on hard...;~;

 

Not to mention the huge lagging with 4 AI opponents and more.

 

Lag? You musta had a crappy CPU...I'd run me vs 7 medium AIs on an athlon 64 3200+ 2ghz.

 

that game was coded sooooo bad its just sick

i did like it very much however

 

CnC generals was hilarious in multiplayer, it often devolved into a case of who can spam enough tanks to crash everyone first.

With mods such as shockwave and contra, it was very, very awesome.

You people need to all play ground control.

AoE was okay.
I never played anything past no. 2 though.

I entered a cheat code for AoE that gave me a ferrari that shot pellets at them....from half-way across the map.

Because its map creator was really amazing (custom models, crazy triggers, lots of modifications to the game that was possible). Games like Parasite, Terran infestation, battleships, all the tower defenses were simply amazing on warcraft 3. But nothing beats tower stack on starcraft.

 

I have the original warcraft: orcs and humans + portal expansion disc actually.

Might be worth some $$ some day.

 

sell the box in 20 years on ebay for like 10,000. Trust me people will buy it.

I have original warcraft...although no expansion. Yep..been following Warcraft for a while, but WoW was like...f' no, I ain't paying to grind away my life.
