ok i thought mabey we could implement a super weapon in Empires Mod kinda like in C&C 3? but it wouldn't be really easy to get early in the game. and has to cost allot mabey 5000 res? also can try and make it stoppable so it a total cluster fuck of death. and of course needs a time limit. pros: 1 good way to give the mod a more dangerous feel to it. 2 can catch the opposing team off guard. 3 if the enemy has a good defiance you can take it out. cons: 1. if you add to many effects in the game might cause people to lag or crash 2. mabey to over powered.

i was talking more umm ... Nuclear but i can see why it would get shot down if spamed then that would just suck the fun out of the game
I've used the superweapons in CNC games, and although they take time to charge up, they are too powerful to use in Empires.
What if.. (just throwing this out there) there was a moderate price (300) "Anti Balistics" turret. too expensive and wouldn't last long enough in the field, so you can use superweapons like that to attack troops, but not just bomb the base. i did pretty much copy this idea from supreme commander but it works really well.
I agree with this on the sole condition that, say the command vehicle can "disrupt" the radar, so a compact nuke cannot be shot near it. Thus leaving the command vehicle clear of this threat and also makng it so that it would have to be placed in the middle of a base to prevent the barracks from getting microwaved.
