Hey guys, recently i feel the need of a reverse camera while driving artillery, i think we don't need to discuss about the requirement - but about the implementation! first we have the camera, there are several ways to realize this: allow freelook by the current camera while keep the horizontal aiming axis restricted add a second camera on the model, wich lead to other possibilitys and the requirement to bind it A. add unique angle restrictions to allow a bit more surounding view while deactivating the gun B. restrict view angle while keeping gun control - this allow easyer driving while the gun control counters the fact of blind angles! second we have the keybinding if we go with option 2)!: - could be attached to the (for arty drivers mostly useless) spotting feature - added own keybind for it (maybe we could just create a "special" key for "vehicle extras") - attach it to the "move back" action (logical, if i want to drive back i propably want to see where i'm driving - but it could be anoying if one just want to readjust position!)
Allow me to iterate on your idea A: scrap everything you just said B: holding shift = anchored 3th person look for all tanks
Allow me to iterate on YOUR your idea A: scrap everything you just said B: give all vehicles 2.4 power slide drifting handbreaks again.
