So I sold a bunch of useless crap on the steam market, and made enough money to buy FTL, which I did. It's those idiotically manipulable consumers that make the world a better place. I suggest everyone on here doing the same.
I haven't played Hat Simulator 2 in about 6 months, and you're telling me i can sell that crap for money?
The Market tab says I have 0 items in my inventory. The Inventory one says I have 76. Fuck you, Gabe. EDIT: Apparently, they're not marketable. How do I fix that.
Christ, my collection is fucking immense. I traded four keys for portal 2 once. That sounds bad until you figure out what I get the keys with...
There's a limited amount of types of items you can market, currently it's those "genuine" ones and then things like keys, crates, dyes, and "strange" devices. They might broaden it out sooner or later but currently it's that.
Limited as fuck. On the plus side I made 44p on selling a TF2 paint I conned out my younger cousin. But there is little point, all chests go from 2p and they are the bulk of my inventories. I'm waiting for ACTUAL items, and then it will be worthwhile.
there was some guy trying to give me a bunch of stuff for a monday night combat hat or something. i think he was trying to scam me
The paint will net you about $6.50 at average $0.45 each, but some paint goes for $1, the crates will get you $0.24, your companion cube pin can get you $1.15, the brain bucket about $0.90.
If I sell my rare dota 2 items I'll be rich and buy an entire empiresmod dev team and make them work night and day.
I bet Bill's hat is worth something. Whenever I play TF2, I get bombarded with people asking to trade me for it.
Good news everyone! "Vintage" items can now be sold on the market, and all of them seem to command prices of about 20 cents. Vintage items are basically achievement items you have that may be a little old or something, not sure how exactly the algorithm works but it's only achievement items. You can finally sell away all those damn blutsaugers that valve sends you every time you play. And all those Dota 2 invites you can't seem to get rid of? You can sell those now too. Each invite is 2 cents, like the mann co. crates.
some guy wont stop bothering me for some monday night combat hat so i just stopped logging into steam (2 kind 2 block)
