Since Empires is a HL2 mod....why don't you get it listed on the Steam list of games? I have a feeling that might help how many people played...not?
Well double check me....but I didn't find it when I was digging for HL2 mods, and the various preview videos.
Hell, this mod should be at the TOP of Steam's mod list! Regardless of how you sort it :D With Gmod in 2nd of course.
There are at least 10+ mods I've dug up that aren't listed there on Steam. If they did a news update but didn't list then it seems kinda' odd, unless... *GASP* They're trying to kill Empires!!! It used to be on the list. I'm guessing since it's moved on to the new engine, steam list thingy isn't tracking it anymore.
Pfft, I found Empires the ol' fashioned way....clicking links till I found something interesting. =P Normally, I end up in some underground Communist site, but that's besides the point! Tbh, I don't remember seeing Empires on steam at all. The only game which I am proud of being on the steam list (when you browse for them) is 'The Specialists', but that never got much advertising from steam either.....which was a shame.
when it got released it was in the steam news, valve is watching empiresmod, I hope they will say something about planes when its released, knowing that empires planes arent just going to be flying tanks :>
I think that Krenzo said something about advertising after mod is more complete. ATM some people can play it see no planes and leave for good. (Show me any other HL2 mod that has/will have planes)
I believe one of those spacey/sci fi mods will have aircraft. Not sure if incoming source will have them or not.
Well I haven't really seen any other mod with planes yet, but I've seen & driven helicopters, VTOLS, & Jetpacks in Half-Life 2: Death Match.
