I can not play this game! My friend, Chrispin, has told me and showed me everything to download, I'm sure its correct. But for some reason beyond my explanation, steam says one thing when I join an Emp. map, "Steam is not initialized. Please try again." If anyone can help or has a fix, could you help me out?

And you installed Steam and have Half-Life2 enabled on your account, right?

Uhh, k Is there any known fixes? Or am I going to be like this for a long time until Steam fixes it?

Oh and Yes to Chahk. I only have HL2 Deathmatch though.

Ahh... you have only purchased HL2 Deathmatch, and not HL2 Singleplayer? In that case, you'll want to make a desktop shortcut to HL2 deathmatch on the desktop. Right click it, go to properties, and in the Target entry, add -empires to the end. Be sure there is a space between the address and the -empires part. Then use this link to launch Empires.

What about the -applaunch320 or whatever it is? Oh and it still won't work I put it a space after the -applaunch 320. Like this "C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 320 -empires
    Is it right?
