Steam (?) error

i´ve tried to connect to another empires-server, but then, after a few minutes, this warning appeared:

but i´m of course logged into steam! (and have the game correct installed, at the BSID-server i can play normal)

 

This is weird, I just had the same problem with CSS. The folks at VALVe probably fucked something up.

 

this happened to almost everybody, just log out and log back in and it should be fixed.

But I logged out and back in and it worked for about 30 minutes then gave me the same error. :/

 

It's happing to TONS of people. Whatever you do though, don't follow any instructions to fix it client-side. I was just at some forums and someone fucked up their steam pretty bad by following some random directions. It's a problem with the company so let them deal with it.

 

I got the same bug... its new.
I cant join any server except the FB-server.

 

Funny, this has yet to affect me. I've seen it where the entire server but me gets kick, which is hilarious when I'm in the enemy base.

 

It happens to almost everyone. There's also another variety that claims that your Steam account is already in use, but relogin works on it too... Valve fucked up big time with their latest update or their servers are viruzed.

 

Gotta love VALVe. I couldn't play any multiplayer games yesterday because of this.

 

I only got this error during emp_testing.

I have YET to have this happen to me... well with it saying that to me, however, I do sometimes get randomly kicked from games. I have seen it happen too.

 

I think that the other variant(kicking you out of game, because you're not logged in) and this one got fixed with the new Steam Platform update!
