Maybe not better atm but when I get into frenzy I get better with each game. :> Stats would give me a slightly bigger motivation to comm all those games where there are 90% noobs.
Yes it can. Psycho stats is very interchangable. Problem is with the game logs the server keeps. It only says who kills who. Not which gun used to kill that person, where they were shot, or what location they were shot. The logs right now are too basic to even comprehend the ideas eth0 and I have come up with for a complete statistical analysis.
Why are all the good players always in-game assholes? (By the way, if you think this is trolling, I'm also including myself.)
Hey! I'm not an asshole....oh I see, you meant GOOD players. =P I don't think I'm bad...just I like building, lots of building.....if comm gives me a whole base to build and a turret farm full of lvl 3's, I'm as happy as Larry. =D

Hi eth0 here, server admin for the BSID server. Just to explain the reasoning of adding stats tracking to the server; firstly yes, i absolutely agree that due to psychostats only be able to register player Kills/Deaths it by far doesn't capture the nuances and skills in empires, i.e. a guy with a nuke-tank aiming at a player will get his one registered but and engineer will not credit for walling-in a CV and having his arty-friends take it out. This is, however just supposed to be a fun optional extra in the absense of proper stats if people are at all interested in this kinda thing. I do, and i think i speak for the BSID clan, very much welcome the idea of Globally Persistant Stat Tracking for empires and look forward to it's implementation as soon as dear Krenzo can afford some of his time! PS: @krenzo: BSID would be more than happy to be part of a beta test program for such a system on our server.
I do try to be nice to the noobs, but sometimes they drive me nuts!!! like when I'm injured, and nothing i do, including standing infront of them while they have their calculators out would get the pair of these engineers to heal me. that makes me mad.
ORRR, we could have duelz on a custom duel map. THAN WE SHALL SEE!!! i like stat tracking, butonly when its completely overall coverage of every thing u ever do... "stars shine brightly when you look at meeeee"
Holy shit! It seems to have managed to track one game of mine(a bad one). I didn't realise that I've even played there during that tracking. :eek: Edit: I played a bit today on the BSID server... I rose from 171 to 29 quite fast. It's sad though that this thing doesn't track the score. I build stuff like an ape! :D By the looks of the top people on the scoreboard this truly is BS. :D The some of the worst arty rapists are there. :D
