Standalone release would save Empires

We should give Empires a major update.
1. This update should include a multitude of new vehicle weapon, armor, and engine scripts. (Why not incendiary weapons?)

2. A flamethrower
(effective against infantry and buildings)
for the engineer because it would attract noobs to the class.

3. Researchable infantry weapons, ammunition, and armors.
Bio-projectile research would unlock acid rounds or whatever that can be equipped in place of a secondary weapon.
.50 cal could unlock an anti-tank rifle and such.

4. Oculus Rift support
inb4 Facebook a bloo bloo bloo.
Not taking advantage of the absence of VR content is incredibly stupid.
Not to mention Source 2013 already has VR support we just need to get it to work right with menus.

5.Attracting decent Let's Players
I'm not saying we get Pukedieshit to play empires we all know how that would end what with that awful community of his. I'm just saying we get a few credible lets players to sample Empires and see if we can generate some kind of *positive* attention.


6. Updating the store page with a standalone release.
People shouldn't need to go through other source games to get to Empires.
Fistful of Frags, No More Room in Hell, and Cry of Fear have all received high attention after they went standalone.
Empires should follow this trend.

Awaken Empires from this diabetic coma and let it indulge in the sweetness of life once again.

They are not well though out ideas, if even that, seeing as its pretty obvious that it takes alot of time for the few people working on the mod to tweak stuff around, expecting someone to actually work on a niche feature thatd be used by maybe 4 people is close to laughable.
Youre not making a particulary good case for yourself by starting off with logical fallacy. Not to mention its hilariously misplaced to boot.
