I've been thinking about this for a while now, and the game is too rambo style, i know a good team tries to work as a squad, but it NEVER happens, appart from on Escort (maybe district but i hate it and never play it) But could someone give some ideas to make squads more appealing (apart from free promotion and free promotion points) And another thing, how do the sqaud participation points work?

I was playing crossroads a few days ago with some BSID members, and we used squad participation all the way through. We captured the middle, built up defenses while others provided cover fire, and eventually attacked their base. The other team had tanks already, but our teamwork devastated them :) Engineers built turrets outside the enemy base, and riflemen took out infantry while grenadiers took out tanks and buildings. So, albeit rare, teamwork does happen. One thing I suggested to increase teammwork a long time ago was to maybe decrease damage taken while in a certan radius of a squad member, or maybe health is regained slowly while close to them. Maybe even if there is more of a variety in classes in a squad, the reward is greater. Maybe even give points for being around a teammate doing his or her job, like give anyone in a certain radius of an engineer a point when the engineer builds something.

Mean like a squad leader with the ability to give in field commands and squad makes getting points for accomplishing these tasks?

I wish we had thought of this sooner!

There will be radius bonuses in squads, encouraging them to stick together. Skills with these bonuses will be shared in the radius, and some skills may even stack. The idea behind these is to get people to stick together and fight. I'm not sure, but I think the shared point system may end up radius based as well.

maybe make the skills of a squad blend if they are close to the squad leader

like engineer squadleader, rifleman and scout makes all squadmembers close to leader be faster in building, do more damage and walk faster (as an example)

blending the special skills woud be good too!

imo, they should improve the squad system drastically or remove it and give everyone a free skill from the start. EDIT: I would post ideas but doesn't seem anyone wants them.

In all honestly, I really don't need the colour green to use teamwork and that's pretty much all the squad system is at the moment.

yeah, the squad system needs some more thought. Maybe get rid of squad leader, automatically make squads when people start games and put in a bonus when acting in teams like noted above. The squad could be lead by whoever has the highest rank at the time. Maybe a screen at the start of the game where people pick their squads, and a screen for the comm where (s)he can swap players in and out of squads (drag and drop hopefully).
