So I'm trying to get my squad targets binded to mouse1 , I managed to do it, but at the same time my fire disabled, is there a way to get a both commands binded to mouse 1?
bind lmb "emp_menu_quickcmd x y; attack" maybe? but it would have downsides of spam whenever you press LMB. you should do it with aliases, but figure that out yourself ... i suggest using a unique key for that though. if you start spamming now, ill take measures to turn you silent again
Atack? what do you mean with "atack"? cause console doesnt recognise it :S and its squad target = handy not fsd, more fss
well fire should be attack (or +attack and -attack, where plus means keep pressed and minus mean "unpress") but i might be completly off, ive not cfg-scripted anything since i played urban terror ...
its incredible how dumb you are paradox ... A T T A C K (note theres 2 t in case you still dont get it)
you should read my replies. i know my english isnt the best, but it shouldnt be that hard to get me :D also, its probably better you do that with aliases, im just that rusted in, that it would take me a while to figure it out. and since its quite unimportant to me, i wont help you with that (but google probably can, theres plenty of tuts about this)
oh lol right, mouse1, not LMB :S my fault so it'd be bind mouse1 "emp_menu_quickcmd <x> <y>; +attack" but thats quite hackjobish for my taste and i still think a unique key for this would be best - anyway, half a minute on google should have gotten you the correct way no matter what ...
if you seperate 2 commands with a semicolon they get issued one after the other - it might need a wait in between, but that doesnt make it better since while wait you cant do shit. its just the +attack might be a problem even with aliases (also imagine you have spot and attack bound interchanging on the LMB - im sure youll end up with spot when you need fire and fire when you want to stay in cover and only spot ppl most of the time ...). so, since i think there is no way to check for a mouse_up event in scripts, this is doomed to not work correctly either way ... thats why i said, its probably better to use a unique key for that anyway, in my very first reply already
I fixed it, kinda, used something stupid. bind "mouse1" "emp_menu_quickcmd 2 4; +attack; wait X (depends what guns I'm using); -attack"
This is probly one of the most idiotic binds I have ever seen, Congratulations Paradox, you're retarded. Have a good day.
