Squad menu 'promote to squad leader' button

    Simply, I would like to see a 'promote to squad leader' button in the interface, instead of the kicking/rejoining mess.

    Similar to the Battlefield series I presume?

    Not a bad idea in my opinion.

    yes, good. also some sort of vote-de-promote for squad leaders that do bugger all while you're at it.

    Suggested at least three times, I think the squad system will be looked at in one of the next releases.

    Why?
    Your joining his squad by your own choice, the squad leader should be able to punish insubordinates in his squad for not following orders...

    As it stands now, the squad leader can kick people out.

    If the commander is doing a bad job, they can be removed by a vote from the team. The squad needs to have a similar power to be able to remove the squad leader.
    You can solve the vote the squad lead out with a vote in a squad lead. Its a good idea, the only problem is how to balance how many votes are needed.
