Squad hide is way too hard to see.

I think the opacity should be turned up a little bit, so they are still clearly visible while not touching walls. Anyone who played 2.12 knows what I'm talking about.

I don't think its too bad. It only gets spammed in non-classic maps...and as we all know, balance shouldn't be determined from a game of escort

    I'll try that.

I agree with you, however, on infantry/cap maps, I think it could do with a very slight nerf.

No HSM. You know how with regular hide, you're not completely invisible. It used to be the same with squad hide.

After seeing BE use squad hide at least 8 times in order to capture a single flag (NF still won), I think it should make people completely invisible and partially immune to damage to boot. If you're going to milk it for that many squad points, it should be a win button, dammit!

Only time it's a problem for me is when they are lagging around and I'm using the shotty pistol..

I think it is fine as is. it clearly works pretty well on people due to the fact that they usually die in melee range.

It would be somewhat pointless if it didn't make you difficult to see.

It's a squad power, it should be powerful, especially as it currently denies access to any other useful squad powers.

Only nerf I'd see is not being able to melee without losing a hide, but that would eat away the funniest tactic in Empires. Smoke + squad hide + melee upgrade.

Yes, this is a little bit overpowered. With melee you kill players and with shooting you kill players. Why you only get visible while shooting?

Because melee hit detection is still broken and in order to kill more then 1 unlucky person you need melee upgrade?

I think squad hide is fine because it requires teamwork to use.

I would agree to this only if hide is fixed to work on all textures. The contrast is too dark, making you stick out on light colored textures.
