This thread regroups a few things that I have said in the past about that should be regrouped into a thread. 1. Add a button "Join squad" alongside the "form squad" button in the F-menu. It puts you in the first available squad. "invite to squad" button in the F-menu should work for people already in a squad. 2. For the commander add (key)+(letter) to select the squad corresponding to the letter. Add the bind for (key) in the controls. 3. Squad Organisation on the commander interface, add menu to show squads (and squad points) and their members and allow commander to drag members from one squad to another.
You used to have to invite via the menu and accept via the menu. I haven't seen it happen in 1.8 onwards, though.
theres a reason for your 0.1% uncertainty it only works if you are squadleader and the targeted guy isnt in a squad already. you can also somehow accept invites this way - i admit i also only use the squad ('c') menu also you jump with shift xya? how do you sprint? with space?
Hmm, how did I miss that? I'm a noob. Anyhow I will just change it to say it should work for people already in a squad then. Is there also buttons for accept/deny?
yes i think so, but only once you got invited obviously. its all bit obscured. as said, even though i know about it, i only use c-menu ...
